Inspired by Etel Adnan's use of blocky shapes and bold colours, this calendar is an accordion-fold book, which she liked to use.

A landscape spreads across the calendar, starting with cool colours used for the top portion, and warm colours for the bottom—the northen and southern hemisphere. As the seasons change, the colours swap around—cooler tones for the bottom, warmer for the top.
