fascinate
/ˈfasɪneɪt/
verb. childlike wonder and amazement; focused on something as if spellbound; may develop into a desire to obtain said object.
the word "fascinate" draws its roots from the Latin word "fascinum", which relates to spells and witchcraft. Similarly, fascination with an object causes one to be spellbound, gaze locked on it.

My childhood fascination with claw machines embodies this idea of fascination. With this image, I reversed the roles of the child and the toys, playing into the darker side of the word. Playing with magic will ultimately get you into trouble.
